I keep thinking of the planes coming in to land in St Maartens in the Carribbean where they come in as low as 30ft over beachgoers heads all day every day

Flightradar is a social media app and not used by any state agency. They do not guarantee that accuracy of their information, especially if you use the basic non paying version.
There are far better, more accurate apps available

A wonderful advertisement for the city not the airline.
If I were a viewer abroad, as most of those watching this match would’ve been, would this needless display convert me into a customer of Airlink or a potential visitor to Cape Town? Far more the latter. The beauty of the city was manifest but none of the aspects that induce people to fly with an airline: price, product, convenience, punctuality or safety were promoted in a spectacular but somewhat futile commercial exercise.
CT looked magnificent. Airlink? Who cares!

Brilliant, this is what we South Africans do, which makes us wonderful. It also helps us to take our minds off the sickness of ANC politics and the ongoing skulduggery of anything to do with the ANC and its cronies.
