Do you have questions about 30 June, March and March or immigration?

What is the economic cost of chasing illegal immigrants out of the country? Are they not important as part of the labour force for economic growth, a building block of the economy? My experience with immigrants is that they are in general hard working, trustworthy, punctual, dependable and willing to put in extra effort. What will the economic effect be if these people are taken out of the economy? Due to our estate no longer allowing undocumented workers, I was forced to replace my excellent Malawian houseworker with a South African, and I am already regretting having to do that. Of course you cannot generalise, but this was also my experience before and now I am in the same situation again.
