Hi! I’m currently an MA research thesis student (I would say mature student as I’m in my 40s ha ha) at Stellenbosch University studying the social media use, online risk experiences and digital literacy of low-income teens in a semi-rural village in the Western Cape. With a background in communications, research and human rights, I am all about child rights in the digital environment, particularly those of children and adolescents in low-resourced communities.
