Get involved in organisations whose purpose resonates with you - keeping the town free of litter, early-childhood reading in communities, birding groups, conservation organisations etc. we got Plett accredited as an international whale heritage area in 2024 - recognising the efforts of local marine scientists, conservationists, tourism promotion agencies & community inclusion.
