Anyone interested in classical music, from the 1700s to 2025?
Hi Jill i am not studied on the matter but have quite a bit of appreciation for the modern composers. I legitimately find Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring beautiful and have quite a fasciantion with Iannis Xenakis and Alvin Lucier’s music.
Locally i think Matthias van Dijk, Pierre-Henri Wicomb and Neo Muyanga are fantastic.

Some stuff did go down pre 1700 and modern classical can be “ challenging “ if you think melody and harmony defines music, but still, yes.
