After 9 years of feeding 340 students daily, The Breakfast Club has been evicted from Good Hope Seminary Junior School for refusing to pay rent on an unused classroom. The Breakfast Club, a nonprofit that has served over 66,000 meals annually to 75% of the school’s learners, was forced to cease operations by the School Governing Body after a breakdown in negotiations regarding a lease and rental payments for the food preparation space.
