Kirstenbosch is a precious space for me. However, when the bureaucrats withdrew our Sanbi prescription allowances, I now seldom go. The cancellation of the Botsoc membership entrance system has had an adverse affect on local public enjoyment of, and participation in Kirstenbosch. I appreciate @Don article raising the red flag. And, the financial milking of Kirstenbosch and the practice of cross subsidisation of the golden goose reserves needs a serious rethink
