How long have you been waiting for a streetlight to be fixed? Repair times in Joburg have doubled in just a year. How long has your street been dark?

I live in Maboneng, and on our block, there are three street lights on each side of the street. None of the six lights functions. (Main Street, between Berea and Greene)
Sometime last year, JRA installed solar-powered lights, but because of the height of the surrounding buildings, they never had direct sunlight and so never worked. I’m not sure who removed them, JRA or vandals, but now there are only bare poles lining the street.
