You and me both (though I have tried to be very supportive of the soccer fans this past month)

The soccer was fascinating. Ball control was paramount and contributed to scoring goals and winning. However slowing the game down and repeatedly returning the ball to the goalie I refer to as “poer-poer” soccer. BORING.

In many instances coaches were too scared to substitute the poor performing players with a alternative. In so doing, they lost the match. Witness the playoff for 3 rd and 4 th place, and the Cup Final. Too little too late. Finish and klaar.
