Tech tools can be expensive, but these these new cheap options could be the game changer your side hustle needs. @SharpSchutters highlighted a few:
- Design: Canva’s “forever” model and acquisition of Affinity are challenging expensive subscriptions like Adobe, with local pricing that makes sense.
- Admin: Local tools like Stub.africa and Zoho Solo are offering professional invoicing that handles our specific tax requirements—some even offering free tiers for solopreneurs.
- Payments: The days of losing 3% of your turnover to card machine fees are ending. New entrants like Capitec are slashing these costs to under 1% for many merchants.
