Fly fishing on the Cape Streams

Do we have any Cape fly fishers here who might have comment about the breakdown in relationship between Cape Nature and the Cape Piscatorial Society? I am linking to an opinion piece and curious about alternative perspectives on democracy of access to rivers, catch and release of alien species from conservation scientists. How do we balance the value of centuries of recreational sport, and limiting access to a river to protect the serenity, with right to land and leisure? The Mission Fly Mag
