@Alet oh wow which small town?

@AngelaDaniels Patensie potatoe farmers? Whats up with them? Pray tell.

This is a part of the country I wish I could visit more. It’s so beautiful there.

It’s up for sale - R17.9 mill - for the property plus Ronnie. It’s for sale with him having lifetime rights to live there

Ask Bienne… she seems to know something

I watched a reality show last week that said the Northern Cape is the Area 69 of South Africa…:eyes:

I’m actually not sure. In the centre of town it’s really not a lot at all, but it seems like there are a greater number of people living in the townships. So it honestly depends in what area you stay. But with how quiet the town is, it’ll feel like it has a population of 50.

Oh also interesting fact: everyone goes home between 12pm and 2pm to eat and stuff. So the town is especially quiet then. We arrived during that time and thought a zombie apocalypse had taken place

Can we get a story on this?

A whole lot of nothing (vast Karoo land), the bar and Ronnie who lives on the property. You considering it, Heather??

She could only be talking about KZN

Also to the writers… How big a factor is the local municipality in the satisfaction and quality of life of your small towns? I.e. do people prosper because or despite of their local government?
