Vanishing Opportunities

According to this article, India does not have a game plan for potentially vanishing call-centre jobs, under threat from AI. There is already a hiring chill.
The IT sector contributes 7.5% to India’s GDP, and employs 52% of the world’s outsourcing personnel.
If AI adoption pans out the way the article suggests, India’s college graduates are facing bleak prospects. India could well be a case study of the way an AI future unfolds.
