@SharpSchutters had an insightful interview with Airlink’s CEO, who said the airline has “no interest” in the low-cost fight. Instead, Airlink is positioning itself as a premium network carrier.

Airlink says it won’t join the race to the bottom on ticket prices. With no middle seats and a focus on premium connections, they are betting we are willing to pay more for reliability.

I will never understand who can afford to fly business class. Surely it’s good business to buy executives cheap tickets? :sweat_smile:

Especially domestically. But one of my (transport nerd) goals is a lekker long international flight in business class (one day, a girl can dream)

For those that fly overnight and walk into a business meeting the next morning, international business class makes sense, domestic business class, is that even a thing??? I just wish international business class didn’t try to make you pay for the whole plane!
