I am currently covering a story (3 press releases so far) that, although more directly focused on a local issue, is being mirrored in cases across the WC and CoCT.
It deals with the almost arrogant disregard by the WCG (specifically WCED in our case) and the CoCT of community concerns and wishes regarding planned developments (mega schools, low-cost housing, etc).
Attached is a summary of our case. However, there have subsequently been several concerning developments that have increased the pressure to get our case heard as publicly as possible.
