I honestly believe that Knysna has improved over the last 18 months….. Largely thanks to the communities and organisations such as KIG, Revive Knysna, Keep Knysna Clean, and others.

There are several case studies with photos. Here’s one example.
KIG is doing an amazing job - financed by residents contributing R100 (or more) per month.
Led by Eugene Vermaak, KIG works alongside Knysna municipal workers, passing on skills in the process. The main focus so far has been on restoring Knysna failing water infrastructure.
