Roos has never been high on Rassie’s list. Only ever started one Test against top 4 nation (Eng at Twickenham in 2022). The Boks place a high premium on team first, individual second, and he might not have convinced the coaches in that regard.

Since the other, other loose forward is running in the centres, it will be quite hilarious if (when) Kwagga subs in for Siya and then joins the backline at scrum time.

What happened to Kwagga? He is a shadow of his former self. A bit battle weary? Surely we have seen the last of our once proud breakdown steed?
