The 2025 instalment has the added complexity of happening post Comms Minister Solly Malatsi allowing gov departments to bypass the centralised procurement system - forcing Sita to compete and, in turn, fix its shit to remain relevant.

Some serious sleuthing going on behind the scenes to figure out which ICT vendors are responsible for which parts of the Citizen Super App that’s launching tomorrow. It will be a centralised app for all national government service delivery needs - think tracking your Passport application, getting an unabridged birth certificate (even registering a birth).

This a good thing that the centralised procurement system is being bypassed, given the corruption in tenders, maybe this can be precedent setting?
